Exact greatly values all of its partners in our ecosystem. These collaborations represent a great opportunity for all parties involved to reach new audiences and to benefit from each other’s strengths.
When showcasing our partnership, it is important to feature the Exact brand appropriately. This is why we have designed this Brand Guide for Partners. It provides you with all the material and information you need to create clear and effective communication materials and represent the Exact brand name in a correct way.
To make a clear distinction between Exact communication and that of our partners, we have designed a Partner logo. Please make sure you use the Exact partner logo in all cases, except for the two situations mentioned in the next chapter.
All logos are set in Exact red with black text. Please note that these colors can only be used as solid colors. Do not use tints.
Minimum size
To ensure that the Partner logo reproduces legibly, never make the logo smaller than 15mm (print) or 120 px (digital). The Exact partner logo can never be bigger than the logo of the partner.
Partner logo types
Backgrounds
We will deliver all logo's with a white background around the logo. Note to designer: all logo's are created in Illustrator using the new vi grid. Make sure the white space around the logo is 1 grid similar to the space between the 'partner type text' and the Exact logo and redline. If you have questions let me know.
Positioning
Mind the necessary minimum horizontal (XX) and vertical (XX) interspace.
Always use your personalised partnerlogo. Never use old or altered partnerlogo’s.
At Exact we appreciate working together with our partners and to combine our strengths for bigger goals. In order to do that correctly it’s important to keep things clear about who’s the sender. That’s why we like to emphasize that the Exact logo is an intellectual property of Exact and may only be used to communicate that Exact is sponsoring your event.
In combination with the Exact logo, a company description can be used. Only use the copy below when describing Exact:

The Exact logo consists of our wordmark (=Exact), enclosed in a tab that forms an integral part of our logo. The preferred logo is a white wordmark on a red tab, but it might also be reversed if it stand out better that way.
The logo is the core element of our brand.
The equal sign indicates the precision in everything we do.
Example: don’t use the equal sign as bulletpoints.

To preserve the integrity and visual impact of the Exact logo, always maintain a minimum 1X clear space around it. The clear space around the logo is an integral part of its design, and ensures the logo can be seen quickly, uncluttered by other logos, symbols, artwork, or text.
When positioning the logo, always respect a minimum distance of 3X between our logo and the border of the page.
Minimum size logo
To ensure that the Exact logo reproduces legibly, never put the logo smaller than 12mm (print) or 65px (screen).

The Exact logo can be used with or without the boilterplate of Exact. The Exact boilerplate however, must always be supported with the Exact logo. In all other cases, use the Exact Partner Logo, not the Exact logo.
When Exact sponsors your event, you can use the Exact logo. Always use it in the right way, and always mention in words that Exact is a sponsor of your event.
We understand that our valued partners like to use the Exact brand name in their communication in some occasions. In order to avoid confusion about who’s the sender of the communication, it’s important that the brand and visual identity of the partner is dominant in all marketing and communication assets.
Using the Exact brand name can occur in several situations, for example in events, domain names, adwords and social media. Please take a careful look at the guidelines on how to use the Exact brand name the right way.
Although we appreciate being a partner at the numerous events our partners organise, it’s important to clearly communicate who’s the organiser of the event. You may not use the Exact brand name in the title of the event. Exact can be in the pay-off of the event, and always in combination with the target audience or product.
Use event names wisely, you may not suggest or indicate that Exact is the organizer of the event.
To make sure that Exact is not seen as the sender or owner of a non Exact website, you may not use the name Exact in your domain name.
Of course you can use the Exact brand name in underlying pages of your website, meaning after the slash.
If you want to use Exact as a brand name in your search ad copy on Google AdWords, you should request it via your partner manager. The Exact brand name is protected by the trademark and can’t be used without Exact’s official approval. It’s not allowed to bid on the brand name Exact in advertising keywords in your Search campaigns.
Please do respect this policy, you will lose the right to use the Exact brand name in your ad copy if you don’t. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us for more details.
Should anything remain unclear, please feel free to contact your contact person at Exact.
Social Media
If you create social media channels and/or (hash) tags, make sure this properly identifies your company and its brands only. It has to be clear that the sender of the post is the partner.
