Paul Ramakers has been Exact’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) since November 2020. He joined Exact as a Sales Support Specialist in 1995 and worked his way up to CEO over 25 years. Paul is a role model for anyone who wants to get the best out of themselves and a passionate advocate of the growth mindset. Paul supports a diverse, inclusive corporate culture where everyone has the opportunity to develop.

Alexander Rahusen has been Exact’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO) since January 2020. He previously worked for ABN AMRO for 23 years. One of his positions was Head of Private Clients Europe. Alexander’s distinctive features are his broad perspective and strong commitment, and he believes that the CFO’s role goes well beyond just balancing the books. Alexander likes to combine data and intuition: 2 opposites that are both needed to achieve optimal results.

Sophie Wildeboer has been Exact's Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and a member of its Executive Committee since September 2023. What distinguishes her is the combination of strategic skills and a remarkable ability to inspire others. She has previously put these skills to good use at companies such as CarNext.com, ABN AMRO Bank and the Boston Consulting Group (BCG). As Exact's CMO, she is responsible for marketing and communication. Sophie leads a team of marketers who offer a wide range of disciplines and areas of expertise and are passionate about the company’s reputation and brand awareness.

Lotte de Burlet has been Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Exact since January 2025. She started at Exact in 2023 and was co-responsible for the further professionalisation of HR in her previous position as Director HR Advisory. She previously worked in HR and consultancy at ING, among others. Lotte is a purpose-driven professional who believes you can make a real impact if you know how to bring people and the business together. Lotte values a diverse and inclusive culture where everyone can flourish and develop themselves.

Jeroen van der Heijden has been Exact’s Chief Technology Officer (CTO) since August 2018. He held various IT management positions in the organisation from 1991 to 2005 before he decided to return as CTO. As CTO, Jeroen drives the technological innovation of Exact's existing and new products. His key focus is ease of use. Innovations should make life easier for customers, save time and be intuitive to use. Successful innovations are adopted so easily, it seems as though they have always been there.

Wiegert de Vos has been Exact’s Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) since December 2020. He joined Exact in 2008 and previously held various management positions at Exact and KPN. As CCO, Wiegert manages Exact’s portfolio companies and sales organisation, which includes our own sales teams and the extensive international partner channel. One quality that comes in very handy in his current position is his passion for building close-knit teams. Another is his entrepreneurial mentality. That is what sets him and his team apart, because you can only really serve your customers when you truly understand what they need.

Marcel van de Sandt has been Exact’s Chief Customer Success Officer (CCSO) since November 2020. Marcel joined Exact in 1992 and has since gained a wealth of expertise in various positions in consultancy, customer support, product marketing and product management. Scalability and data utilisation are subjects dear to Marcel’s heart. Scalability enables us to provide the right solutions to our customers and data allows us to understand how our customers are using our software and what issues they are experiencing. In short: we make every effort to satisfy our customers.
Joep Hoeks

Joep Hoeks has been Exact’s Chief Product Officer (CPO) since February 2021. He joined when Exact acquired Unit4 Business Software. Hoeks had been working for Unit4 Business Software since 2011 and had already held various management positions there. In his current role, Joep is responsible for Exact’s portfolio. His strength lies in the combination of his market and technical knowledge and a strong customer focus. Software must be easy and intuitive to use from anywhere and support customers in overcoming their challenges 24/7.
