Joep Hoeks has been Exact's Chief Product Officer (CPO) and a member of the Executive Committee since March 2021. He joined Exact through the acquisition of Unit4 Business Software. Hoeks had been with Unit4 since 2011, holding various management positions relating to service delivery, software development, product management and cloud operations.

In his role as Exact's CPO, Joep is responsible for the company’s portfolio. Quality, functionality and ease of use are paramount. “Customers opt for Exact because we provide them with user-friendly software. Therefore, our customers are always the starting point in our product development. The software must be simple and intuitive to use, accessible anywhere and support customers in their challenges 24/7. We need to keep our customers and their wishes in mind at all times.” Joep’s strength is his combination of market and technical knowledge and a strong customer orientation.

Joep obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Communication Management from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht. He also holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration, specialising in Strategic Management, from Erasmus University in Rotterdam.
