EU Data Act

The Data Act (Regulation (EU) 2023/2854 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 13 December 2023 on harmonised rules on fair access to and use of data and amending Regulation (EU) 2017/2394 and Directive (EU) 2020/1828) aims to give customers greater control over their data and to make it easier to switch between providers of data processing services, including SaaS providers. At Exact, we are committed to helping our customers exercise their rights under the Data Act.

Data Act Addendum

To support compliance with the Data Act, Exact has published its Data Act Addendum. The Addendum provides information about switching to another data processing service provider, exporting Customer Data, applicable notice and transition periods, and the contractual arrangements that apply when exercising rights under the Data Act.
