In an agile setting, you will work on awesome ServiceNow solutions which deliver instant value and help the business in achieving its goals. Your focus will be on designing and implementing new requirements, by translating business needs into technical solutions. And you won’t be alone: your team consists of other Application Specialists, Developers and IT Business Partners with whom you’ll collaborate to deliver the best solutions. And that's not all. We can rely on you as an Application Specialist to: 

• Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions
• Implement Best Practices of ServiceNow 
• Execute test plans and ensure a quality solution is delivered
• Analyze and solve/adjust complex issues within the existing implementation
• Help the support team in IT Operations when required
• Act as a subject matter expert to colleagues and actively support others in architecting the best solutions
• Next to this, we also offer you the opportunity to learn about the other applications in our landscape, to become a versatile application expert who can also contribute to the bigger picture.

With us, you can be yourself, and we would love to discover what sets you apart. For the position of Application Specialist, it’s helpful if you have great analytical skills. And that you enjoy building quality solutions and solving complex problems in a multi-disciplinary team. What’s more, you bring:

• At least 5 years of experience (Pre: Certified) with supporting and building solutions in ServiceNow 
  • ServiceNow SAM, HAM, ITSM, SPM and dashboarding
• Fluent in English is a must, Dutch is beneficial but certainly not essential

And preferably;

• Experience with managing other business applications (Pre: Exact Synergy, Exact Globe, TVM, ScanSys, Exact Online, Salesforce)
• Experience in a Microsoft oriented IT landscape (Pre: Microsoft administrator experience (potentially proven by certifications))
• Experience with managing complex IT environments with multiple applications and integrations
• Experience in a customer facing / business process role (translating business requirements to application solutions)
• Basic experience with software development: Java, JavaScript, HTML and CSS
• Basic experience with managing or building data integrations
