AWS Cloud Engineer (Senior)
In the role of Cloud Engineer, you build, manage, and change the Cloud hosting environments for our applications, which we deliver fully as SaaS to our customers. We are active in both critical operations and projects by building and managing on AWS and Azure. We see the infrastructure world changing to software, so we automate as much as possible in our cloud infrastructure. We are not limited to our own discipline; we also work with application developers and the Customer Success organization. As an AWS Cloud Engineer, you will be part of our team and contribute to our mission and work on the Azure landing zones yourself.
This = the job you are looking for
As a Cloud Engineer, you work on complex systems, critical interfaces, and platforms for and with our customers. You will work in the Cloud Operations team with several other engineers. Your colleagues truly understand business context and requirements, design systems and platforms. You will learn from them, but you are also positive about contributing to the team and sharing your knowledge yourself. We automate as much as possible, support the (customer) team and developers on applications, and keep the platform secure, up to date, and available.
This = what you offer
The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in managing large-scale AWS environments, especially those that function similarly to traditional data centers. We create custom solutions for our customers, so we are not tied to a specific toolset or technology stack. However, for this role, we require approximately 5 years of experience in complex AWS environments. Additionally, candidates should be proficient in or willing to learn the following tools and technologies to automate, refactor, deploy, run, and monitor our systems:
Must haves: Terraform, Powershell, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, YAML.
Nice to have: Docker, Bash, Splunk, and ELK.
