Junior Business Controller

We are looking for an enthusiastic junior business controller to join the Business Control team of Exact. As Business Control team we provide strategic financial advice on current and future performance and support senior management in steering the business to achieve our long-term strategy. This = the job you are looking for 

In this role you will work closely with all the members of a team of 8 reporting to the Director Business Control. You will be responsible for supporting the team in monthly updates, budgetting and forecasting for both revenues and costs, including modelling and slide preparations. You will also support the team in specific (ad hoc) projects and business cases. In addition you will support the business controller responsible for the HR function.

You are a smart and eager professional with an academic background, preferably with a University degree in Finance, (Business) Economics or related and you have around a year working experience in a similar, business control role. Next to this you;

• Are used to a data driven environment with professional Excel skills, and comfortable using PowerBI tools an eager to experiment with AI tooling;  
• Are analytical, curious, eager, result driven and well-organized;  
• Have a strong personality, are team-player and have a can do mentality
• Are ready to have lots of fun

This = our application procedure 

If we have enough in common, there will first be a meeting to get acquainted with our Senior Talent Acquisition Business Partner. The second step is an interview with the some team members and the third step is an interview with the hiring manager and one of your future colleagues. A test will be part of the selection process. The selection procedure will take up around 2-3 weeks and expected starting date will be 1st September
