Kelly started her career at Exact as a recruiter. This helped her get a clear sense of all the different role and the types of people and personalities they required.

Doing is the new growing

"Through my experience in recruitment I'd gained familiarity with HR. This made it fun for me to join Sales and focus on the HR products of Exact. I understood where our (future) customers were coming from and what challenges they were facing.

On the other hand, I didn't have any knowledge of finance at first, so talking to prospective customers about the accounting products Exact has in its portfolio was more challenging. Exact really helped me master that. By tagging along with Support, joining colleagues and following courses, I was able to quickly get the hang of everything. I even got courses specifically aimed at improving my sales capabilities.
