The Development department of Exact Online Construction is known for its creativity and innovative power, which enables it to translate the high demands of customers and the market into an easy-to-use web application with an attractive visual appearance. We consist of different SCRUM teams, for Front-End, Back-End, and Mobile, that work closely together with the quality engineers, and, together with our product managers, are responsible for the development of a part of the application.
Our teams are part of the Exact European Development Center (EDC), which consists of several hundred other technology colleagues in Europe (mainly in the Netherlands) and is part of the Exact Technology organization, together with the Exact Asian Development Center (ADC).
Role Overview:
As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our cloud solutions by interpreting product specifications and developing comprehensive test plans. You'll conduct functional and load testing, including manual testing, and develop automation scripts using Cypress for functional and regression testing. You will test web applications, mobile apps, and APIs, collaborating closely with SCRUM teams and leveraging Azure DevOps and Git version control. And that’s not all. We can rely on you as a Quality Engineer to:
- Develop, implement and maintain automation scripts using Cypress for functional and regression testing.
- Collaborate with SCRUM teams and product managers to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Utilize Azure DevOps and Git version control for efficient collaboration and code management.
- Demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility and ownership in all tasks.
- Possess excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
This = What you bring
We welcome candidates with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science/information technology or business studies. You should have extensive experience in testing web applications, mobile apps, and APIs, along with proficiency in Automated Functional Testing frameworks, preferably Cypress. Experience with Azure DevOps and Git version control is required, along with a strong sense of responsibility and ownership. Good communication skills and certification in TMAP or ISTQB are advantageous.
