Exact is a leading HR & Payroll cloud software provider for the SME sector, delivering flexible and highly automated processes for accounting, and small to large companies. We ensure the timely delivery of salaries to many. As a SCRUM team member, you will assure the quality of our innovative cloud solutions. You will interpret product specifications to develop comprehensive test designs/plans for functional and load testing. In addition, you will design and maintain the automation framework for application functional and regression testing, collaborating with other teams to meet high-quality objectives for our customers.

The HR & Payroll Development team is renowned for its creativity and innovation, translating the high demands of customers and the market into an easy-to-use web application with an attractive design. We consist of SCRUM teams, in conjunction with our product managers, responsible for application development.

This = Your Role

As a Quality Engineer, you will ensure the quality of our solutions throughout all aspects of product development and delivery. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Developing and maintaining the test and automation strategy in close collaboration with colleagues.

Preparing technical feasibility assessments and estimates for proposed automation solutions.

Collaborating with team members, providing guidance and coaching on automated testing.

Demonstrate responsibility and ownership in all tasks.

Effectively communicate with cross-functional teams.

Provide test coaching to junior team members.

We welcome candidates with:

• A degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business Studies.

• Extensive experience in testing Windows and web applications, mobile apps, and APIs.

• A minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in software automation testing.

• Required experience with Azure DevOps.

• A strong sense of responsibility and ownership.

• Effective communication skills; ISTQB certification is preferred.
