Your work helps customers quickly and independently find answers to their questions. You translate complex software functionality into clear, reliable and well-structured content that is made available through a variety of channels.
Your content serves as the primary knowledge source for our Support Agent, which uses this information to provide answers to customer questions. You will also create content for release notes, emails and in-product messaging.

As a Technical Writer – AI Knowledge & Content within the Customer Success department, you have a passion for creating clear, reliable and well-structured product knowledge. In this role, your focus will be on our SaaS product Exact Online and Accountancy customers. You will create English content across a range of channels, including content that is used by our Support Agent, release notes, emails and in-product messaging.
You write, structure, analyse and continuously improve content based on customer questions, user behaviour, feedback and data. You not only focus on what customers need, but also ensure that content is organised logically and consistently so that our Support Agent can effectively use it as a source of information. And that's not all. We can rely on you as a Technical writer – AI knowledge and content to:
- Translate complex software functionality into clear, understandable and reusable content.
- Ensure that product information is accurate, complete, up to date and consistent.
- Collaborate with product experts to document complex functionality in a clear and customer-focused way.
- Analyse customer questions, search behaviour, feedback and usage data to continuously improve content, addressing customer needs.
- Structure content so customers can easily find information and so the Support Agent can use it optimally as a knowledge source.
- Review and improve AI-generated responses for accuracy, completeness, tone of voice and usability.
- Experiment with new content formats, knowledge structures and ways of working.

Our team is a close-knit group of Product Owners, Technical Writers and Translators. We are passionate about creating high-quality content that enables our customers to get the most out of Exact software. Over the past ten years, we have created a vast amount of content and gained valuable insights into what works and what doesn't. That's why we continuously explore the best ways to create, structure and deliver product knowledge and help to our customers. Your content will serve as the primary knowledge source for our Support Agent, which uses this information to answer customer questions. You will also create content for release notes, emails and in-product messaging.

We use Scrum to plan and prioritise our work. Our source language is English, and our translators localises content into Dutch, Flemish, French and German.

And preferably you have experience with tools such as MadCap, CMS platforms or similar content management solutions. What’s more, you bring:

- Experience writing, maintaining and structuring product documentation or similar content.
- A genuine interest in AI, chatbots, knowledge management and emerging approaches to customer support.
- An understanding of how well-structured content contributes to more effective AI-powered assistance.
- A data-driven mindset, with the ability to use insights such as search behaviour, feedback and metrics to improve content.
