To support the continued growth of our SB ERP Sales organization, we are taking the next step in evolving our sales strategy. By creating a split into our customer base team that will work as simultaneously operating team, we believe we can provide more dedicated attention to our customer and our people — while further optimizing our commercial performance. That’s why we’re looking to recruit a talented Team Lead (Level 6) to help shape and drive this next phase of our Customer Base evolution. 


As a Team Lead Customer Base at Exact, you are responsible for leading an Sales team that operates alongside a separately organized sales team with similar dynamics. Together with our talented sales professionals, you convince existing customers to upgrading to our higher innovative Exact Online Industry solutions or expanding their current solution. In doing so, you aim to achieve both your own targets and Exact’s broader business objectives.

  • Hit sales quotas;  
  • Mentor and train newly joined sales talents;  
  • Recruit, hire, and onboard new sales people; 
  • Create sales forecasts; 
  • Analyze performance data;  
  • Design and implement a scalable sales strategy; 
  • Continuously iterate on and improve upon sales processes.

You will join the approximately 6 colleagues in the Sales Management Team. They are known for their results and smooth cooperation. Asking for help if necessary and offering help if possible is part of our commitment. As a Team Lead, you are not only responsible for your own team’s success, but also contribute to the overall performance of the Sales Management Team. This means you play a key role in shaping the strategy, sharing best practices, and supporting the success of other teams as well. 


The sales department is known for its work hard play hard mentality and delivering growth Year over Year. The main responsibilities of the department are:  

  • Delivering budget and achieving goals 
  • Building out this talented and ambitious sales team

With us, you can be yourself, and we would love to discover what sets you apart. For the position of Teamlead Customer Base, it’s helpful if you have a sense of motivating talent . You are a a born team player and also bring a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or other relevant area; 

  • You have at least 5 years of experience in a (senior) sales position; 
  • Experience with and knowledge of sales cycles, preferably within the software industry; 
  • The ultimate drive to achieve targets, along with the flexibility to adapt plans when needed 
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English, both verbally and written; 
  • A burning desire to recommend our software to every person you know; 
  • Determination, creativity and persuasiveness.

This= our application procedure 

  • There will first be a telephone conversation with the hiring manager.  
  • The second step is an interview with the hiring manager and another sales manager.  
  • The third interview will be with 2 sales managers and at last the CCO Director will have the final interview.  
  • An assessment is part of the selection procedure.  
  • The selection procedure takes about 4/5 weeks.
