Now that more and more invoices are processed digitally, the recipients of such invoices prefer to receive just one PDF file, even if the invoice includes attachments such as the general terms and conditions. You can now combine all your content in one PDF file to be sent by email or in Peppol UBL format.
Good news for our thousands of Mollie users: you can soon have the payments you receive processed and reconciled directly in Exact Online. Mollie retrieves all payment data and then also processes the payment data automatically in the accounting. This feature will be activated in Exact Online in the coming days.
Did you know that invoices with a payment link are paid up to 40% faster? Another good reason to activate Mollie if you aren't using it yet.
If you are using our scanning service to recognise purchase invoices, it may happen that the invoice details do not fully match the account contact details in Exact Online. For example, the postcode and house number are recognised, but the enterprise name is not. In that case, Exact Online will now ask you if you want to update the data. This prevents suppliers being created twice in Exact Online.
An up-to-date administration enables you to make more informed decisions. No hands Accounting for entrepreneurs helps you with this. Our software will take on your accounting tasks, allowing you to save 73% of your time, reduce the risk of errors and benefit from innovations such as e-invoicing so you can spend more time on your core business.
You are probably familiar with the dashboards in Exact Online Accounting that provide an overview of important figures such as turnover, outstanding items and profit and loss. From this release, these figures can also be viewed for a specific year and period. This gives you even more freedom and convenience to analyse your enterprise's performance.
Processing payments between bank accounts within the same administration has always required manual interventions. From now on, you can have these payments entered automatically in suspense accounts. This is a significant step towards an even more efficient accounting system.
The laws and regulations are constantly changing. Fortunately, Exact makes sure that your software is always up to date. We have also made all the necessary accounting adjustments for 2021. The VAT returns and ICP statement for 2021 are fully up to date again, for example.
If you would like to know exactly to what extent your scanned invoices have been processed, No hands Accounting can show you the current progress on your uploaded files. This shows you exactly which documents have been fully recognised and are ready for processing and those that still require your attention. This new feature in No hands Accounting helps you to focus only on what really matters.
A lot can change in the course of a subscription. For example, customers may want to upgrade their subscription or cancel some of it. Subscription prices and quantities are also subject to change. To make these ongoing changes even easier, we have made many improvements to our Subscription Management.
Many companies want the generation and sending of subscription invoices to be completely automatic. We have great news because this feature has now been added!
The system checks which subscriptions can be invoiced every day, and we've now set it up in a very flexible way. You can specify whether you want to generate or send each subscription condition automatically or manually. You can also decide whether each condition is to be invoiced automatically in advance or after delivery. This saves you time, gives your subscribers automated invoices at a fixed time and takes away any worries about the invoicing process.
In these lockdown times, you want to be able to give your customers the option of suspending their subscription. This will stop them from cancelling their subscription altogether. This is now possible. You can easily suspend a subscription for a few weeks or months.
Your enterprise can charge your customers for several services. The invoice layout of a subscription may be different from the other layouts you use. For example, you may want the invoice to include other information, such as the subscription period or the collection method. This is now possible. You can decide which invoice layout you want to use for each subscription condition, meaning you will always send the right type of invoice.
This release also adds a number of notifications to help you with your payroll administration, focusing on salary calculation and the consequences for your payment or calculation. To learn about the other notifications we have added, read the release note.
Partners of women who have given birth are entitled to supplementary parental leave. During this period, partners receive a payment of up to 70% of their salary from the Employee Insurance Agency (UWV). As the employer, you can choose to receive this benefit and then pay it to your employee yourself. You can now do this very easily with a new component in Exact Online Payroll.

This new system provides complete control and a full overview of all processes in an administration or accountancy firm and all the services provided. CRM for Exact Online Accountancy is now available as an add-on to a Plus or Professional subscription.
Your business in your pocket! Ask your customers to download the new My[Firm] app for a new, fresh design and enhanced functionality. Of course, you can easily add your own logo and offer the same options you are used to. The app will be expanded with even more new functionalities in the near future.
Would you like to know for which (internal) client companies more efficiency can be achieved? So that you can save time, reduce errors and always keep the administration up to date? This new overview gives you and your colleagues some relevant starting points. It shows how up to date an administration is, gives an overview of how the purchasing and bank entries are arranged now and with which customers you could have a productive talk about your current collaboration. This new overview is scheduled to become available this spring.
If you send sales invoices from My[Firm], it's easy to follow them up. We have added three improvements that make it even easier to send reminders:
If your customers submit their invoices and receipts on My[Firm], the administration will be updated immediately. This gives your customers real-time insight with relevant overviews in My[Firm]. Both the purchasing and sales overview have been further improved in this respect, while the improved filters have made it easier to search the purchase overview. The filters of the sales overview have also been improved. The sales overview now also includes columns for the payment date and your reference, making it easier for you to find relevant information later.
If your administration is using five or more bank and cash books, you can now get an improved overview with the Bank/Cash widget on the My[Firm] advice dashboard. The new overview shows all the bank accounts and cash books, including the current balance, to give you more control over your cash flow.
Inviting your customers to their own Exact Online solution has never been so easy. Whether it is for Exact Online Accounting, Professional Services, Wholesale Distribution, Manufacturing and Construction or for My[Firm]. You can now see when your invitation has been sent and whether the customer has accepted it. It's also easy to search invitations that were sent by colleagues in order to follow these up with your customers. This new overview is scheduled to become available this spring.
A total of 18 new connected apps have been added to the Exact Online App Centre. These apps can be linked directly to Exact Online or Exact bouw7. For more information, visit the Exact Online App Center.
In some situations, you may deliver more items to your customer than were originally ordered. For example, you may have produced a certain batch for your customer, or a tipper or tank truck with bulk goods may have delivered more of the product than planned. In cases like this, you still want to invoice the delivered amount. You can now do this with Exact Online Wholesale Distribution and Manufacturing Advanced and Premium without any additional administrative work and without changing the sales order.
An Economic Operators' Registration and Identification (EORI) number may be required for international business. You can communicate this with customer-specific layouts, for example. However, if you are serving a large number of customers, you have another option. Customers who are using the advanced editions of Exact Online Wholesale Distribution and Manufacturing can now record the customer's EORI number on the account contact card. You add this field on the packing slip and sales invoice layout next to the items' total weight and country of origin field.
If you are dealing with a large number of delivery methods, it's useful to recognise the delivery method, especially if you need to use a separate packaging method or make other preparations. That's why we have now made it possible to add the delivery method as a filter and extra column in the sales orders overview and when printing sales orders.
If you are already picking sales orders with the inventory management app for Android or iOS mobile devices, you can now also register serial numbers and batch numbers directly during order picking. This is very efficient, as it reduces the number of actions required during delivery.
A bill of materials shows the materials and operations we use to manufacture a product. It's now very easy to replace materials in different bills of materials. You can search for the item to be replaced and show all bills of materials that include a specific item or material with 'Material replacement in bills of materials' in Exact Online Manufacturing. You indicate the replacement material and then tick which bills of materials you want to update. You can then make the desired change at the touch of a button for all the selected bills of materials. Easy!
If you order your products based on customer orders or based on a combination of order recommendations and customer orders, you can now combine these orders. This will make things very clear to your supplier.
It will also avoid any additional costs for orders with a low total purchase value. An additional advantage is that if the supplier offers any volume discounts, you can enjoy these sooner.
It's now even easier to process a purchase invoice in your project administration and financial administration. We have added the history, updated the display and expanded the match component in the purchasing module, offering you even more control and giving you better insight into your administration.
Collaboration in the supply chain is extremely important. In addition to project administration, many companies are also using a Scan & Recognise solution, a calculation program or another option to process the administration even more efficiently. You want to make the right choices for your enterprise. And you want to have the right figures at the right time. Now and in the future. That's why Exact is developing the latest version: Exact Globe+. The app features the latest technology, is easier to use and now has a modern look and feel.
The first customers started using Exact Globe+ last autumn. More and more functionalities and modules will become available in a Controlled Release. This includes the Exact Globe+ financial modules, and Order and Invoice. In the coming periods, we will gradually expand this to include the Purchasing and Manufacturing modules, WMS, legislation and so on.
We are also improving Exact Globe+ based on feedback from the Controlled Release customers. We have updated the menu and you can now indicate whether it should be minimised or not. This allows you to maximise your work screen. We have also further improved the readability of the input screens by adding a so-called 'zebra menu'.
