Automation & Integration engineer

Exact is growing fast, more and more companies are acquired which need to integrate in our existing application landscape. To further strengthen our IT Applications team, we are looking for an automation & integration engineer. In this role your focus will be on two area’s:
  • Data integrations between applications, using the Mulesoft Anypoint platform, reporting platform Splunk and deployment platform Azure DevOps;
  • Automation, using various tools. 
This = the job you are looking for
It’s Tuesday and the following is on your agenda today:
  • Daily stand-up;
  • Assisting the IT Business Partner in a meeting with the Order to Cash process owner. The topic is a data integration that involves contracts;
  • Exact wants its employees to start filing their expenses in a new application. You’re developing the integration for employee data between our internal HRM application and the new Expense Management application; 
  • A ticket is remarked to you, there’s a failure in an existing integration, together with the functional application manager you’re analysing the error in Splunk;
  • Your bi-weekly one-on-one with your manager is planned where you’re discussing your new training demands.

At Exact, all IT departments are in-house. You’ll be working in the IT Applications team which supports the business applications used by the internal Exact organization, your customers are your colleagues. The IT Applications team consists of IT Business Partners (5), Functional Application Managers (4), Technical Application Managers (3) and Developers (6). 

This = Your Tech stack
At Exact IT Applications we mainly use the Microsoft and Salesforce tech stack. You should be knowledgeable in both stacks and willing to keep learning and progressing in both areas. Most of our applications are Microsoft based, except Mulesoft which is Java based.
