This = the job you are looking for
Our team is looking for a Front-end Engineer to help bring our digital communication initiatives to the next level. In this role you will work on front-end development projects, applying your coding knowledge in languages such as JavaScript/TypeScript/HTML/CSS, and knowledge about databases. And that's not all. We can rely on you as a Front-end Engineer to: 
  • engineer scalable, smart solutions (e.g. templates for emails or in-product messages) in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Salesforce Interaction Studio so that our campaign managers can build smart e-mail and web campaigns for our customers;
  • collaborate with your direct colleagues to create customised user interactions (e.g. designs from our UX Designers), that demand a creative engineering approach; 
  • implement our Salesforce tools in new platforms, and make sure existing campaigns are migrated;
  • help campaign managers with complex or technical tasks, for example by creating specific data extensions;
  • continuously expand your knowledge of Salesforce by training, coaching, and learning on the job.

The Customer Success department is made up of three main pillars, Customer Support, Delivery and Engagement, which are supported by Operations and Business Analysis. With a team of 500+ colleagues, we work on our main goals: driving NPS, reducing churn, and improving scalability. 
You’ll work within the Engagement-pillar, in the Digital Engagement Team. This team creates all service-related digital campaigns and focuses on improving the customer experience. Its goal is to create highly satisfied customers by pro-actively supporting users in the onboarding and daily use of their Exact products. 
It’s a varied team with fifteen highly specialized experts, in areas such as CX/UX, data analysis, campaign management and engineering. You’ll have direct access to their expertise, and simultaneously they will want to pick your brain. Your future colleagues are team players who love to help you get the best results. With us, you can be yourself, and we would love to discover what sets you apart. For the position of Front-end Engineer, it’s helpful if you have a sense of creativity in dealing with limitations that tooling can bring. And preferably not afraid to own/host/monitor/maintain what you build. What’s more, you are:
  • experienced (3+ years) in front-end coding: JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS; 
  • experienced in Salesforce, or similar CRM and/or marketing automation tool;
  • a proponent of clean code;
  • no stranger to databases, (REST) API’s and software QA;
  • capable of sharing your approach concisely with internal stakeholders; 
  • someone who loves to collaborate on the execution of projects with other technical specialists in our team;
  • solution-focused and challenged to find workarounds;
  • someone with strong analytical skills who is agile and flexible enough to cope with change.

  • a thirteenth month, travel/working from home allowance and 8% vacation allowance; 
  • 27 vacation days and 3 CSR days that you can spend on volunteer work.
