In your role as Exact’s Cloud DevOps Engineer, you give strong direction to the technical architecture of our Multi cloud hosting platforms. The position is found within the Cloud Operation team, which is responsible for the design, implementation and operations of our multiple SaaS based products. Teams are working from several offices in The Netherlands, so there is always an office close to your home. Next to that we are working often from home as well, though for the team spirit and to get refueled, it's good to be at the office as well.

As a Cloud DevOps engineer, your mindset should be to have everything we manage automated either by using IaaS, by utilizing available PaaS services and by making optimal use of cloud native tools for our products. Our team’s goal is to give the best experience possible for our customers by maximizing uptime and performance while in the background wrangling with CI/CD Pipelines, enhancing with PowerShell and innovating with new cloud-native capabilities. You will also be working closely with our development teams and you will be reporting to the Manager Cloud Operations.

This = What you bring
  • You have at least 3 years of experience in building and administrating Microsoft server products, including Windows, IIS and/or SQL Server.
  • You have at least 2 years in managing cloud infrastructures via infra-as-code tools like Terraform, ARM templating or cloud formation.
  • You have experience in designing, implementing and administrating mission critical infrastructure or large B2C internet-based products and automation systems.
  • You have strong knowledge and experience in leveraging AWS and/or Azure for running huge production loads.
  • You have experience with setting up CI CD pipelines in Azure DevOps or equivalent tools
  • You are envied for your strong knowledge in one of the configuration management tools like PowerShell / Chef/Ansible/Puppet.
  • You have experience with Azure or AWS Monitoring and Alerting. (Application Insights, OMS/Log Analytics, AWS Cloud watch etc)
  • You have the "architect" mindset in order to come up with the best solutions on AWS and/or Azure to support our software and services and support it with certifications.
  • You are the proud owner of a Bachelor’s Degree in IT or have equivalent knowledge based on experience.
  • You are fluent in English language, both verbal and written.
