The Job

As a Senior Software Sales Executive. you are passionate about sales and also want to convince the entire planet that Exact’s ERP or industry solutions are the best. You also open to developing yourself in selling ERP Business Solutions for specific target groups. All executives have the ambition to inspire and enable SMBs to grow with Exact. In this role, you will get the change to develop yourself and to grow with us. Your focus will be on:
  • Goal-oriented new customer hunter to drive revenue from new customer relationships;
  • Prospecting for new Exact software license and service business throughout the region;
  • Solution selling mentality that aims to further build up customer reference base;
  • Experience with business software/ERP systems used by medium-sized businesses, focus will be manufacturing industries machinery, electronics, chemicals, metal and food; service industry professional service, education, general services; wholesale, supply chain and logistics industries;
  • Assume a leadership role within assigned accounts by involving in end to end sales cycle;
  • Assume ownership for revenue generation within assigned accounts, as well as the quality and strength of the executive relationships within them;
  • Pursue and follow up on new leads;
  • Identify and qualify opportunities within their accounts, develop and drive account strategy and executive relationships within each account;
  • Providing customer support and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction;
  • Manages sales funnel from lead to closure:
    • Cold calling on the assigned customer base
    • Prepares quotes
    • Generates sales orders from new or existing customers
    • Prepares and executes presentations
    • Negotiates contracts
    • Initiate the order process
    • Regularly updates CRM database
    • Conducts on-site customer visits
    • Communicates customer needs and requirements to project manager and internal departments
    • Prepares and implements sales account plans (incl. activity reports and forecasts)

You Offer

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent level in a related field;
  • Communicate, read and write fluently in English;
  • Willingness for short business travels within SEA Region;
  • Industry Process Knowledge of Wholesale Distribution, Manufacturing and Professional Services will be an added advantage;
  • At least 7 years of technical experience and 5 years of commercial experience;
  • Creativity in formulating solutions from Exact family of products and services;
  • Extensive working knowledge of ERP, CRM, HRM and BI is highly preferred;
  • Thorough understanding of business solution;
  • Capable and confident in influencing and interacting with people at all level;
  • Be decisive, result-oriented, aggressive, excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills;
  • Self-starter with high level of integrity;
