At Exact we are looking for a Financial Reporting Manager to strengthen the SSC & Reporting team! In this role you will be reporting to the Director SSC and Reporting.

As the Financial Reporting Manager you will proactively drive the business to realize its strategic objectives through high quality external and management reporting & analysis. You will have an opportunity to further develop reporting and take it to the next level by using state of the art technology and value adding analytics. The role has exposure to business leaders, including Board of Management, in a growing, private equity owned Multinational. We are convinced that only together we can make a distinctive difference, so working closely together with our different management teams is key. 

Furthermore, you are responsible for (but not limited to):
  • Corporate external reporting and having a stake in our management reporting, including the preparation of the Corporate Annual report and quarterly reports to the investor community;
  • Providing technical IFRS/ accounting support;
  • Proactively analyzing and reviewing performance and being able to explain the external results of the company;
  • Improving management reporting and KPI’s aligned with the strategy of the SSC and reporting team; 
  • Overseeing and ensuring data quality and integrity of financial reports;
  • Responsible for calculations relating to our external debt and preparations of mid-term and long-term cash flow forecasts
  • Overseeing multiple accounting processes including consolidation of the Group and share-based payments calculations.
  • Monitoring and coordination of Corporate projects and leading cross-functional teams with multiple projects and tasks;
  • Taking a leading role in senior level presentations with management teams as required.
This = what you bring
For this role we are looking for candidates with a Master degree in business economics or related discipline in combination with 7 years of relevant working experience in an international environment. Next to this:
  • You are a qualified accountant ideally from the Big 4. Potentially making a first move out of Practice at a minimum of a Manager level;
  • You have strong IFRS experience (e.g. revenue recognition, purchase price allocations, share-based payments, impairment tests);
  • Experience in a high technology recurring revenue business/ multiple elements contracts is an advantage; 
  • You are flexible and embracing change, always looking for improvements. You take a positive approach to everything you do and meet challenges as they arise You are quality minded and have no problems with hands on work; 
  • You can analyze complex problems and deliver solutions focused on technological improvements and increasing process efficiency;
  • You are a person that is comfortable working under pressure. Your analytical skills are strong with an eye for detail, yet you have the ability to not lose track of the big picture;
  • You have excellent communications skills and you are fluent in the English language, bot written and verbally; 
  • Microsoft Office suite hold no secrets for you! You have advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint combined good presentation skills and with an interest in Business Intelligence.
