Vietnam has been significantly developing since 1996 when the country opened the door to international investment into the country. The foreign direct investment (FDI) has increasingly flown into the country over the years. To tap into the market potential in Vietnam, Exact started establishing its presence in Vietnam in 1998. Exact Software (Vietnam) Ltd was one of the first software companies established under the 100% foreign-invested enterprise (FIE) license in Vietnam since 1999. It was directly invested by Exact Holding B.V. in the Netherlands.
