Exact Globe certified for Microsoft Windows 7

Exact announces that its flagship ERP-solution, Exact Globe, is certified for the Microsoft Windows 7 platform which will be commercially available on October 22, 2009. This brings some remarkable productivity enhancements in Exact Globe that directly result in more efficiency and user-friendliness.

Exact Globe makes extensive use of the improved Microsoft Windows 7 taskbar with a jumplist providing direct access to applications and functions. Furthermore, Exact Globe on Microsoft Windows 7 also makes use of the new taskbar preview function, giving customers additional efficiency improvements.

Bugaboo International B.V., one of Exact’s valued parenting customers using Exact Globe since 2003, was involved in the early adoption program of Microsoft Windows 7. ”After a smooth migration to Microsoft Windows 7, the enhancements of Exact Globe on the new operating system were clear from the beginning,” says Henk Siereveld, Global ICT Manager Bugaboo International B.V. “The new jumplist functionality in the taskbar in Microsoft Windows 7 enables us to work more efficiently with multiple information screens. The search functionality in Microsoft Windows 7 has improved enormously and provides search results to the user directly from Exact Globe. Currently, Bugaboo has five offices in EMEA, the US and in the Asia Pacific using Microsoft Windows 7 for Exact Globe.”
